RE: 698 tonearm

I wish you luck.
It is probably the weakest link in what otherwise is a fantastic table.
I bought one new in 1975 and I gave it to my son a couple of years back.
The cabinet is in excellent shape and he has worked hard to get it back to stock. I think the only thing he couldn't find was the part you ask about.
He ended up putting on a different tonearm. I still sounds excellent with the Shure V15 V cart.
I have always loved that table.
