This weekend I spent many hours cleaning the entry way (plant-a-torium), the living room (HT room) and the main rigs room (former dining room). In the process, I finally decided to put my McIntosh C22 back into play after a 10+ year hibernation. I had this piece gone through a couple years for before I let it go idle. I hadn't put many hours on it and it started acting up...cutting out. I was frustrated by having spent a decent $ to have the work done, only to have it present a problem not too long after.
Well...I fired it up and whalla! It sounded like shit. WTF?
30 minutes later it was much better. 3 hours later....it's still doing fine....6 hours later....there's nothing wrong with it!!!! I've been letting it sit there for at least 10 years thinking it had an issue.
Hmmm...I guess it's time to hook up the MC275 (but I probably won't).
