I like the 12AX7 version the best - the output transformers are larger than the 6EU7 version. I recently pulled mine out and hooked it up. They also made a version with 6V6 outputs. I've always been curious how they compare.

I've seen where someone converted one of the 6EU7 versions to use 12BH7s as power tubes. They run the two triodes in each 12BH7 in parallel and describe it as a "mini 2A3" with an output of 1.5 wpc. They claim it sounds great because the tiny OTs now have much more headroom. I may try that sometime but it's down the project list a ways.
