RE: Analog-Sounding CD Players

I still think my Anthem CD-1 sounds good. Anthem was Sonic Frontiers' more accessible (i.e., cheaper) second line; it features a tube output stage and a 6 cd Sony changer mechanism. It wasn't cheap when new (I think I paid $1,500–the only major piece in my system I have bought new and/or retail price,) but I think it was worth the money. They seem to be quite rare on the used market, but it would sure be a great find at the Goodwill for $15!!!
