History of Fender amp's "TFL" designation

Seen in 1968 silverface drip-edge amps. Showman Reverb = TFL-5000D. Bandmaster Reverb = TFL-5005D. I was told that TFL = Teflon wiring. But, I am working on a TFL-5000D model amp that has push-back wire.
