Thanks for posting the video, Mike. Just one more reason I should step up my attempts to find a good used scope, and buy it.

I've never seen anyone use acorn nuts to cover the shafts of the bias pots before. I guess that's so that sneaky kids or pets can't come in with a screwdriver and change your bias points when you're not looking. I always thought that's what that 400 VDC minefield (the exposed circuit board) was for, to prevent the interloper from reaching their target.
