I cannot complain, though, as the one I have - just like yours but a notch or two scroungier - was only 20 bucks at the NEARC antique radio fleamarket a few years back.
It's kind of visible above the HF-81 in rack towards the top left in the photo above.
The SAF-40 was a good bit nicer all-around, but it drives the 7189s brutally hard.
These R/S amps (also Japanese made) were kind of nice -- bought these, restored, for a friend, at NEARC once, as well. They were rather more expensive, but still quite reasonable for a couple of pretty decent sounding pp 6V6 integrated mono amps ($140 the pair, if memory serves).
