This is a treasure.
What surprises me is how little the coverage and marketing of hifi has changed in 70 years. Everything in these issues seems fresh and relevant and current.
I am also fascinated (and delighted) by the contribution of the music critics. The recordings they laud (that were brand new then) have stood the test of time and are still the ones considered classics today. The early stereo era was the golden age of music recording.
