I'm doing a couple pair of Fisher 80C mono preamps. The advantages to them are very obvious.One is there absolutely no crosstalk from channel to channel..The other is the fact that they have independent power supplies and they are easy to balance.You can combine them with a single volume pot but it's silly to do so.
