RE: are these speakers worth anything? newbie speaks advice!

Are you asking about money's worth or sound quality? If money, the just go to eBay and look or Craigslist.

SQ is very good. They do usually need some attention. At their age, usually the crossover cap needs to be replaced. I believe the 4x has cloth surrounds so, they do not need reforming but usually needed the cloth revealed. Easy enough to do. The best sealer is from Vintage-AR off eBay.

The speakers are thought of very highly by those who enjoy the New England sound and worth putting back into original working condition.
