Good news: the amp is pretty sensitive at 1V for rated output. That puts into into passive territory since many sources have greater output than that.

Bad news: its input impedance is very low at 10k ohms which is neither passive nor tube friendly. You need a very low output impedance of the source or preamp.

You will likely need to experiment to find a good match.
