Yamaha ...

The TD-160 is a great choice and personally I'd pair it with a Yamaha receiver (CR-620, CR-820, CR-1020) or integrated (CA-610, CA-810, CA-1010) with ADS speakers, specifically the L-710.

I don't know what the TD-160 MSRP was back then, but they were easily found for under $200. I bought my first one for $99 at a Washington's Birthday sale in 1978.

Best of luck.

Dean.

reelsmith's axiom: Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.
