RE: Wasn't Much Of A Comparison

Oooh, that Mac 225 has a hell of a reputation with Mike, Don, and Jim McShane.

I have never heard a MC 225, but I have owned several 7591 based amps and they all sounded a bit chimey and thin when compared directly with 6L6, 7189, and EL34 amps - YMMV......

Having said that,I believe you.

My Sherwood will be my son's someday when I am but a memory.
