I was surprised and a just a little sad to hear this. After reading the article, it makes sense. Glad the Fisher family looks at the development so positively, but for $15 million, I could see the silver lining in the deal too. If it hadn't been for Avery Fisher and his electronics company, I would never have learned to enjoy music as much as I do, play the cello, and now to enjoy vintage electronics. Wish the best for Lincoln Center and the Fishers.
