RE: I get confused

I built a few SET and PP amps.

The 8B is better than a PP 45 amp with Megnaquest iron using the same coupling caps as used in the 8B.

The 8B equals the airy midrange in a 2A3 SET amp I built.

And, the best PP amp I built was triode connected PPP 6V6GT that was slightly better than the PP 45. G glass 6V6 were the best

All amps used the same coupling caps. The Marantz 8B is that good!
