Empire has not been made in many moons. You would be better off getting something new like a Shure,Grado,Audiotechnica,etc. Why get stuck with an old cartridge that might end up to be a clunker? But if you are set on an Empire,give the Needle Doctor a call, they sell a replacement stylus for the Empire. They might be able to give you some information.
