The Goldpoint is WELLLLLLL worth it. For a long time I didn't believe that a volume pot could make that much difference. Well I was SOOOOOO wrong!!!! It makes all the difference. After using the Goldpoint stepped attenuator, I can't believe any high end audio gear wouldn't use one.
