As others have pointed out, it is likely to be bandwidth restricted, by design. I don't know this particular amplifier, but in many cases of theater and PA equipment the bandwidth can be improved by modifying the circuitry. These things were overbuilt. If you can find a schematic, people here can help.
Of course, the problem of finding another for stereo remains... The parts are worth something to DIY, but still the problem of having only one. Note that there is likely a push pull amp (and output transformer) for the main speakers as well as a single end amp (and output transformer) for the booth monitor. I think the se transformer is what you see in the third photo and likely the 6V6 was the output tube associated with it.
