Vintage = old.
How old? Now there's another can of worms altogether. A lot of it has to do with when you got involved. Guys who started in the 50s will see that stuff as vintage while guys who got their start in the 70s (like me) might see that stuff as vintage.
My daughter thinks iPods are vintage.
