RE: Pilot

I'll dissent here slightly. Having owned a fair amount of vintage gear, the Pilot gear I've had, a tuner preamp and a preamp, were put together with an absolute "bowl of spaghetti" style of wiring and components. Nothing else I've seen comes close. It was really hard to visualize what was going on, and I knew if they broke I'd be up a creek. So I sold them, even though they sounded nice and used top quality transformers.
