RE: What were your big leaps in audio

Hi, for me it was a high school Radio Shack 8 track (Quadrophonic) system. I had Buddy Miles and Carlos Santana live,1974-ish. When I went from Maine to Rhode Island for my freshman year of college I met a whole slew of people I never new who had HiFi. 1975, Dynaco speakers,Philips 212 turntables with heat sensored controls like a hospital elevator, the list goes on and I was hooked to this day. Now I have a Heathkit AA-32 8 watt per channel push pull vacuum tube amp that I remember my father having built one when I heard (Light my Fire)from 1967 that I got on E-bay. Going back in time and learning DIY stuff has been my biggest leap in audio. With the computer and help from you guys has made it a giant leap.....Mark Korda
