RE: Scott, Fisher, Sherwood, etc.

I hate to say it, but that is a common story. I have worked on many a piece from a customer that was "restored" before they bought it. It is a shame that some "techs" do not have enough self-respect to do a good job in the first place. When properly restored, most vintage tube gear is quite reliable. Rant over:)
