RE: Help with speaker connector problem

Please be patient. I am sure you will appreciate your amp as soon as you get appropriate adapters.

By the way, I managed to connect Silverline speaker cables with wide spades to the screw-type terminals of my recently acquired Eico ST-40. The screws just get hold of the ends of the spades, and I am not sure whether the contact is good or not, but it sounds good.

If you have speaker cables terminated with spades, you may experiment.

One observation - the amp must be placed onto the top shelf of your rack (if you use a rack). For some reason, I could not get proper connection when I placed the amp on the second shelf.
