I just use bare wire twisted. Long enough to wrap around the screw and not get any insulation under the head or the screw. As an alternative, hit someplace and get some gold plated spade lugs. When I use the spades, I add a star or lock washer under the screw to make sure there is tension to prevent the screw from backing off.
