RE: What is "Vintage"?

I think that question has probably been asked 100 times. Really there have not been any improvements for many years. But the digital world did make one thing a lot easier. For once music can be copied over and over and quality will remain the same. Solid state made electronics easy to mass produce. I think we all have heard "they don't make things like they used to". The only real improvement I can see is Dolby 5.1 for HT systems. It can sound awesome. But there is really nothing new in the stereo music world. I think 40 years has not improved listening to music better... Have I forgotten something?
