Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

Antique vs. vintage vs. retro...

Antique is defined as anything over 100 years old, vintage is defined as anything old but not as old as Grandma and also can mean an item is of a certain period of time, that exhibits the best of a certain quality, or qualities, associated with or belonging to that specific era and retro, which is defined as old but not old enough to be called a vintage such as the retro looks of the 90's, which basically represents the style of the past.

So, yes Dynacos, McIntosh, Marantz, Audio Research, Dalquist DQ-10, Quad ESL 57 speakers...just to name a few can be considered vintage pieces in audio as all of them represents the best in certain quality offered in that era.
