Audio has gone through several major shifts since it has been around. The early tube era, solid state stereo using analog tuning, SS stereo using digital readout, and finally modern SS home theater stuff. SS with analog tuning and older is certainly vintage. Some consider the SS stereo with digital readout as vintage, but to me its not quite old enough yet.
