Home Vintage Asylum

Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

There isn't a catalog database per se but

Heathkit1961flyercover

... I have a lot of Heathkit catalogs :-)

You probably already know about the Heathkit museum: http://www.heathkit-museum.com/hvmhifi.shtml
The other somewhat helpful site I know of is: http://www.nostalgickitscentral.com/

In terms of Heathkit IDs in general (IMO, of course), there are a couple of problems:

Heathkit had several models that looked the same but were different under the hood. I have a mono integrated Heathkit (with no tubes) but I am not sure if it is an EA-2 or an EA-3 (which, and I am trusting my feeble memory here) have somewhat different tube complements.

Heathkit also had models that looked different but WERE the same! They would periodically update cosmetics but not change (AFAIK) anything under the hood.

Still, it's all reasonably cool stuff!

all the best,
mrh
