The specs look decent and I seem to remember the model being in the Philips brochure I have for the Lab Series. Not near to check will later. If it is I would say likely pretty decent. Philips did not market speakers, turntable or tape units under the series but models in the catalog during the period are all quite good so this might be a winner. It is funny you mentioned it as I am finally considering a cassette deck.and thinking of a Philips to tie in with the 797 that looks like it might be the basis of my new system.
