I am more interested in speakers than electronics, and the guys in the speaker forum know their stuff but they are so critical. It is really vintage stuff I deal with because I cannot afford so much on a stereo system as them. So teach me the rules...how old does something have to be to be vintage? Does my HK AVR 7000 receiver qualify? I think it is 20 years old. And how about subwoofers? Can they ever count? I do have ADS speakers, I am sure they are in this group. What about anything digital...like an old CD player? I have torn apart just about every brand of older speakers, so I know which are made well. It is hard to beat KEF, but ADS, Warfedale, Rauna and Phase Tech made some good stuff too.
