Home Vintage Asylum

Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

RE: All very good points.

The KT120 is better than the EHKT90, but I bet the Gold Lion KT88 reissue sounds better. I just know that I have rebuilt over 300 pieces of tube gear in the past 5 years for people and the best amp I have ever heard is a Citaiton II. I have one in my living room. I have not heard the MC60, but vintage Mac tube gear has great iron as well. I suspect that 60 watts / ch will be just fine and you should try running those speakers full range with those amps (after rebuilding) first. You may be very surprised at how they will sound.
