RE: McIntosh MC-60s - how do they hold up now?

Another restorer with a great reputation is Audio Classics in Vestal, NY (Binghamton). Many consider them the heirs of the McIntosh tube tradition.

I don't think there is or was a better tube amp than an MC60, and was a bit put off at the suggestion that they were in the same league as a Citation II or perhaps Marantz.

If you go this route, I suggest you try them full range for a while. You might enjoy the results.
