The MC60s have an added coolness factor - they are one of the most creative circuit designs ever. Bifilar primary windings for the plate and cathode, screen grids coupled to the opposite tube's plate, 12AX7s in a bootstrapping circuit, the list goes on and on. For the inner geek in us.
