HIGHLY respected speakers, some of the best and most popular and valuable "pro-sumer" speakers from that era of JBL, right at the upper end of that line. That price is in line with, maybe a bit high for, some in good working condition with the cosmetic flaws they describe, the prime/mint sets go for more (a LOT more sometimes).

If you're going to put the work and $$ into buying and refurbing a pair of vintage speakers, you could do much worse if they work, but the part about "not tested or serviced" isn't a good sign (like Goodwill doesn't have a receiver and 6 feet of wire).
