Disclaimer, I tried this on the speaker asylum, no answer.

I picked this speaker, (brown frame) up at a thrift store, and it has the original cone.

I (stupidly) tried to brush the dust out of the accordion surround, and have some rips to deal with. Any suggestions, (besides re-cone it.)?
