Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

i have enjoyed my sapphire/MMT

i sold my vpiHW19 III/sme IV/sumiko talisman hi output mc combo because i really wanted the ability to quickly swap carts. the sota combo was IT for me.

the sound ov the vpi was WONDERFUL and allowed me to enjoy kraftwerk's autobahn for the first time. extrordinary! and i didn't want to disturb the superb cartridge mountin job of whoever did that job for the previous owner.

i sold it to a guy in illinois and it took me almost six months to get the courage to ship it AFTER he sent me the money. i bought a new box right from vpi and wrapped the tomearm separately on the advice of vpi, ands then shipped it via fedex ground.

i can now enjoy any of my several carts with ease. AND the sota recovers frequiencies down to the cneter of the earth IF you have the speakers that will do so. not all TTs are created equal in this manner.
...regards...tr
