RE: My first Bose experience, 501's

Here's what I did with mine: they sound good. I did not have to replace the woofer but did replace the reflecting speakers, rebuilt the crossovers, strengthened the cabinets, etc I quite happy with the sound. With a bit of work they can sound quite good.
