Home Vintage Asylum

Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

Alright, already!

Now that I know that the other drivers work and I replaced the capacitor, I will go ahead and refoam the woofers and put them back in. (I am getting pretty good with removing the grills at this point!)
Actually, up against the wall, as suggested by Bose in the owners manual, and with a sub, (even with rogue woofers,) they sound just fine for easy listening. Without the sub, a bit muddy down low. They might benefit from being off the carpet a bit to make use of the downward pointed tuned port.
No more Bose bashing, I promise!
