It was covered with lamps and books and had a chest of drawers in front of it, so I could not see the grill. I got curious when I spotted the solid back with a wire sticking out.

I've learned never to run through an estate sale quickly. I always check and check again. It often pays off.

Speaking of Eicos, I found this pair at a sale last year...
