A couple of things that always bugged me about the series. First there was no separate tuner. While I like the tuner/preamp format in this case since there was a preamp I can not figure out why they just did not package the tuner portion of the tuner/preamp as a separate component. Also, Nach made some nice reel to reel transports such as those used in the KLH pair and it would have seemed a natural to offer a low profile r2r similar to the Pioneer 707 and 909.

These were really nice components and I remember customers just crowding around it and drooling for what seemed hours.
