Technics touch-up paint?

I have two Technics SP series turntables and both have a few scratches on the top metal shroud. I'm thinking one of the better automotive touch-up paints might do a decent restoration. If anyone else has tried this can you recommend which mfg/color you used?

I don't want to go to the trouble and expense of stripping off all components and having a shop respray them, although that could allow some fun color choices in place of the silver.

Thanks
