From a real ebay auction for DCM timeframe speakers:

Why am I getting rid of them? Due to their size (and their ability to produce massive loud sound with no loss in quality) my adult married life does not offer me the ability to have them in our neat pristine home or much chance to use them in all their glory. They are banished to the garage, but the garage is under our house and I am always thwarted if I attempt to turn the volume up past 10% of their capacity. I bought these at 14 or 15 years old with my money earned mowing 40 lawns a week and they have been beloved since. It's time for me to free them from my clutches so someone else can fully enjoy them - and maybe I can get a few bucks to ease the sorrow.
