RE: The Fisher XP line of Speakers!

The XP44 and XP55 were the work of Terry Apperly, a british designer brought in by Fisher to improve the line. To my ears, they were a significant improvement over traditional Fisher speakers. Avery Fisher insisted on giving his personal stamp of approval on all their speakers - apparently he liked mellow. At one point I had a pair of XP-7's.
