The Fisher XP-7B speakers and 500TX receiver were bought new by me around 1971. The combination was truly remarkable to my ears until the receiver was stolen from my house while I was at work one night a few years later. I don't think that Fisher speakers in general get many accolades though except maybe the XP-55. I think the huge XP-10 cabinets are beautiful, can't say much about their sound.
