Got an email from Richard Links (Marantz Guy on AA). He made up some paint years ago but is out.
He says the paint used was a hammer tone taupe.
If you can match that color and unusual finish please, please let me know, as I would be in for a quart maybe two, and that would make the painter a lot more receptive to making a match ! Hell if he can match the paint, I'll pay for it and you can take the touch up you need for free !
My local auto shops can not duplicate the hammer tone finish.
