RE: Classic Marantz paint

Perfect timing on your post. However, I will be doing some small touch-up work. I talked to one of the local auto paint suppliers last week about trying to match the paint on my Model 7. I will be taking the top panel to them for a scan. My paint is in excellent condition except where someone substituted screws for the 2 upper shock mounts. There are chips where the screw heads contacted the paint surface. Unfortunately the original style acorn nuts and washers will not cover the chips. I will use a small artist's brush and try to fill in the chipped area.
