RE: I had one in 2006.

Compared to the Fisher, EICO, DYNA and some of the Scotts, the Sherwoods facia was IMHO beautiful. It showed it was not an afterthought. Admittedly, it was counterculture at the time but, Sherwood itself wss. Sadly, like other companies the faceplates can really show the wear. I like the later early 1st gen ss faceplates. Same design, slightly more curved and sculptured and without the white paint. Not. Sure but, I do not think they will ever show wear. But, not as standout since there is nowhite paint, more sedate. These and the very early Fisher SS and hybrid tuner are possibly the nicest units as to the faceplates in looks and construct.
