It will get better and better as the new caps break in.Now,down the road you may want to get a hold of Jim McShane and get some fresh 7189 tubes to roll in it along with a fresh pair of 7025s for the phono.Your philips sound really nice and made 22.4 watts before clipping and they should be around a while..Jim has some 6P14P-ER and a few other types that respond really well in the Sherwood amps.
