Been meaning to comment on this for some time, but kept forgetting.

Isn't it really all about what sounds good to the listener? I mean that is why Heinz makes 57 varities, right? If second order distortion is what sounds good to the listener, who is to say which is better?

It would seem more truthful for you to say " I like honest amplification better than 2nd order distortion", yes?
