The caps must be non-polar.To replace the original 2500 uf Callins caps in my AR-9s I used a composite of (2) Bennic 1000 uf caps and a Bennic 500 uf cap. I used a couple smaller caps to "trim" the value to spec since the Bennics of that size are 10% tolerance. Madisound is a good source for Bennics.
I'm sure you can do the same in the LST.
